Helen Bui Orth, O.D.

Dr. Orth attended Baylor University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Biology and then went on to attend the University of Houston College of Optometry for her doctorate degree. Dr. Orth started Trinity Vision Eyecare in 2002. She specializes in understanding how the human eye really works, as well as diseases and conditions that affect your vision – many of which do not have obvious symptoms. Dr. Orth knows how age and risk factors affect vision over time for young and old, and she understands the benefits and features of corrective lenses including eyeglasses and contacts.

In addition, the practice was started to fill the need of patients requiring a more intense and effective treatment of their dry eye, ocular allergy and ocular surface disease. With proper treatment, sufferers can better enjoy life, clarity of vision, contact lens wear, aesthetics and appearance. Dr. Orth enjoys the challenges of unique contact lens fits, especially with regard patients who have dropped out or failed with contact lens wear in the past.

Other interests include Laser Vision Correction and Cataract surgery co-management, diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and the detection and monitoring diseases of the eye that are related to systemic causes including diabetes, hypertension, rheumatoid arthritis, and skin disorders.

She takes the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, she encourages you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing and treating potential vision problems.

Dr.Orth currently resides in Hurst, TX and is excited to commit her time to helping Hurst and the surrounding communities continue to grow in the coming years.
